About Me

I am a Carolina boy. My dad owned a six-bay auto repair shop in the foothills of Appalachia. My high school overlooked a cow pasture on the edge of suburbia.

Since then, I have traveled the country, working from big cities, picturesque towns in Middle America, and even an asparagus farm in southeastern Kentucky.

….oh, and I also dabble in stand-up and improv comedy.

If you have questions, great! Reach out, and let’s get into some good trouble :)

Forward Together,

Community Member

I am a proud and active member of the Carolina community, especially my hometown of Greenville, SC. It is a joy to volunteer with local organizations, empower and support leaders, and spend time with dear friends and family.

I’ve mentored and taught young people, lent a hand at neighborhood and church events, and even trained aspiring entrepreneurs and advocates.

When our world seems too overwhelming and our challenges seem too great, it’s important to remember the power of living small. Change always starts in your own backyard!

Social Impact Entrepreneur

I am on a mission to launch my own civically-minded social impact organizations. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate enough to learn from the best, gleaning knowledge from as many leaders and innovators as possible.

I've trained aspiring medical students, supported patients at a behavioral health clinic, and operated a family auto shop in South Carolina. I’ve provided hospice care in Tennessee. I helped formerly incarcerated individuals re-enter society and launch their own businesses in Louisiana.

In 2017, I joined the Venture for America entrepreneurial fellowship, developing invaluable skills and lasting friendships with a community that refuses to quit when the going gets tough. Since then, I have assisted and advised innovative start-ups and their founders across the country.

I’ve loved every moment spent with innovators, builders, creatives, curious folk, and dreamers ready to fly. Now it’s time to take the leap myself!

Movement-Builder and Advocate

Since 2019, I have been actively engaged in advocacy, seeking areas of agreement and opportunities for action. While I often speak on the need for positive discourse and breaking the cycle of polarization, my advocacy focuses primarily on four causes:

  • End Child Abuse - I help build national and global movements to address childhood sexual violence in institutions, youth-serving organizations, families, and our increasingly digital world.

  • Eradicate Poverty - I assist coalitions, organizations, and individual advocates calling for the usage of direct cash transfers and child tax credits to better support and respond to financial crises.

  • Raise Good Men - I promote conversations to acknowledge the struggles of modern masculinity while scaling support for women and girls. I manage support groups and advise elected officials on the subject.

  • Humanize Tech - I highlight the need to broaden tech access and advocate for the inclusion of more communities and stakeholders in the development of new technologies.

I am deeply committed to using my voice and platform to address the issues that matter most to me. Advocating isn’t simply a passion — it is a responsibility and a reason for hope.

Stand-Up Comic and Improviser

I grew up in a funny family, and I’d like to think I’ve always been a funny fella. My brothers would disagree, but their opinion doesn’t matter here because this is my website and my word is truth.

I’ve performed stand-up and improvisational comedy across the Southeast — successfully entertaining TENS OF PEOPLE since 2017.

Today, I perform out of Alchemy Comedy in Greenville, SC — turning everyday life into comedy gold.

  • Stand-Up Meets Improve (SUMI) - A weekly show mixing written stand-up with live, improvised sets based on audience suggestions.

  • LaughTrack - A weekly improv performance with games, audience interviews, and scene work…. all based on the magic of television.

It may sound cheesy (because it is), but I believe laughter is a powerful tool to connect, uplift, and entertain. My comedic style draws from real life—with a touch of absurdity and a lot of heart.

Laugh with me or laugh at me. Either way, it clips well :)
